For example, when Calling in the claim, we inform the Insurance company that our customers’ vehicle(s) are at our repair facility and for the adjuster to come to our facility to look at the vehicle.  This accomplishes a few things.  

1. It keeps the customer’s schedule normal. They don’t have to take off work early to meet the adjuster and they don’t have to set aside family time on the weekends or after hours to meet with an adjuster. Keep your schedule normal.
2. When an adjuster meets with a customer, 98% of the time your vehicle will need a supplement because the estimate did not cover all the damages. The vehicle was not viewed under Special lighting, therefore all the damages were not seen. The adjuster will often tell the customer that there may be additional damages and the repair facility can do a supplement to take care of the additional damages. However, when a Repair Facility sends in a supplement, they have to wait for approval from the insurance company before work can move forward. Often times the insurance company will send out an adjuster again to approve the supplement. This is redundant and is a time waster. On our initial call to the insurance company we inform them that the customer’s vehicle is at our Repair Facility. When the adjuster comes, he/she meets with our Operation Manager and we go thru the vehicle under Special LED lighting to make sure all the damages are covered the first time, eliminating supplements and wasted time. The vehicle is prepped, exterior is cleaned and hail damage is marked under special lighting that shows all the damages. One Professional representing the customer’s best interest and the other professional representing the insurance provider’s best interest.
